Model 5730 Static Meter

Our model 5730 handheld LCD static meter is the leading instrument in its class, quickly registering negative and positive static electricity charges of up to 150,000 volts, 100 volt resolution, on surfaces at a recommended distance of 4”. Its excellent accuracy, stability, ease of use and quick response make it an ideal instrument for engineers and quality experts in the analysis of static problems.

Model 5730 enables you to investigate static problems scientifically, showing where and how the static is generated, plus its magnitude and polarity. It further facilitates the most effective positioning of static control equipment and enables you to monitor equipment performance.

The “push button” activates the power, zeros the initial reading and maintains instrument operation for the duration of your testing. The handsome, rugged carrying case and easy-to-read crystal display offers extra convenience.

Model 5705 Static Meter

Model 5705 Static Meter is an ideal instrument for measuring the magnitude and polarity of electrostatic potentials commonly encountered in development, manufacturing and end-user applications. The Model 5705 Static Meter is a handheld, lightweight, precision electrostatic fieldmeter that features a chopper stabilized sensor for long-term, accurate measurements in both normal and ionized environments. The high visibility and quick response of the Model 5705 makes it excellent for taking measurements in limited access areas and for use in electrostatic demonstrations.

A digital LCD readout provides 10 volt resolution. Other features of the Static Meter include distance ranging lights for accurate readings, measure/hold function, recorder output jack, and 10 volt resolution.

The Model 5705 is housed in a compact, conductive case and incorporates a male snap that accepts most wrist strap cords for grounding. A 9 foot cord with removable alligator clip plus a vinyl carrying case are included. An optional cord is available for connecting the Meter to a strip chart recorder, oscilloscope or external display having a full-scale sensitivity of at least 100 mV. The Model 5705 Static Meter is powered by a standard 9-volt alkaline battery.

Model 9185 Ionizer Tester

Model 9185 Static Bar Checker offers users a quick, accurate method of making sure that their AC and DC static ionizers are working properly. The pocket size unit evaluates bar performance by measuring the electrical charge induced into the sensor by the emitter pins of the static eliminator. The tester identifies bar performance and any deterioration that may be caused by transformer defects, shorts in the system, cleanliness of the bar, etc. The unit features LED display, 9 volt battery power and durable housing. The ionizer tester may be used with shockless or “hot” static eliminator equipment.

Model 9195 Neon Bar Checker

TAKK’s Model 9195 Neon Bar Checker offers a quick and inexpensive means of determining if static eliminator bars are functioning. The conveniently small pen size unit indicates that each bar emitter is performing properly by the activation of a neon light signal. Static eliminator bars may malfunction due to transformer defects, shorts in the system, need to be cleaned, etc. The bar tester may be used with shockless or “hot” static control equipment.
