TAKK IonStorm XR2 Static Elimination DC Pulse Bar System

TAKK’s IonStorm XR2 static elimination unit is a Shockless Pulsed DC Extended Range Ionization System, made up of Model 3750 Controller and XR2 Bar. It provides a long range of Ionization at distances of 36 plus inches from target surface to eliminate your costly static electric problems.

The XR2 Bar is equipped with tungsten emitters for long-life and dependable service. The emitter pins have dedicated positive and negative ion outputs and are user-replaceable. The bar is available in standard lengths of 10 inches to 100 inches in 10 inch increments. It is housed in a polymer easy-to-clean rigid body.

The Model 3750 Power Controller’s unique adjustability features include user-settings for frequency, voltage and polarity outputs, providing precision ionization performance to match any static challenge. It is housed in a high strength body and provides an operation error alarm indicator, rocker on/off switch, illuminated ion pulse rate, and lockable setting key-locks. The Model 3750 Controller can be operated from a remote location with integrated DIN connection. The input voltage is 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz. or 24 Volts DC – with variable shockless DC current output up to 14 Kv.

Typical applications of the IonStorm XR2 include unwind/rewind, extruding, molding, sheeting, screen printing, clean room and other applications where long distance static elimination is needed without the use of force air.

Model 90 AC Static Eliminator Bars

Featuring ultra high positive and negative ion output and extra heavy duty construction, this shockless AC industrial static eliminator provides the electronic power, medium range ionization, and durability you need for high speed and difficult operations, especially in dusty or abusive environments. Available in an air bar model as well as single-scan, wide-scan and dual scan models, in effective lengths from 3 inches to 120 inches. The single scan model, with a single row of ionizing emitters provides an ionization range of 6 inches, as does the “wide-scan” model with two rows of emitters (like two bars in one) and the dual scan with two rows of emitters set 180° apart scanning two directions simultaneously. The “air-bar” model combines the high performance of the “wide-scan” bar ( like two bars in one) with air emitting tubes (compressed air supplied by user) and boosts the ionization range to 8 feet. (effective 8 feet from the target surface).

Model 90’s input voltage is 115 volts, 50/60 Hz. Output voltage range is 7200 - 8500 volts, shockless AC current. Multiple bars can be mounted in series from a single power supply.

Typical applications of Model 90 include textile processing, extruding, paper processing, coating operations or any applications where high performance and rugged design are a must.

Model 200 AC Static Eliminator Bars

Model 200 is the industry’s most popular medium range ionization static elimination bar. This high performance, rugged, low cost, shockless unit is available in four styles: single-scan (single row of emitters), wide-scan (two rows of emitters - like having two bars in one), dual-scan (two rows of emitters set 180° apart) and air-bar (combining two rows of emitters with compressed air emitting tubes). The units perform effectively within 3” of static charged surfaces and on materials traveling up to 2000 feet/per minute. The air-bar unit provides an ionization range of 8 inches, enveloping the target surface in a wide field of negative and positive ions.

Model 200 bars may be ordered in effective lengths from 3” to 120”, and up to 100 feet of serially installed units. Model 200 bars may be operated from a single power supply. Input voltage is 115 volts, 50/60 Hz. Optional 220 volt available. Output voltage is 6000 volts, shockless AC current. Multiple bars can be mounted in series from a single power supply.

Typical applications of the Model 200 include Printing Presses, Creels, Bag Machines, Film Processing, Material Handling or anywhere a high performance, long life, workhorse static eliminator is needed.

Model 400T Ion Edge AC Static Eliminator Bars

TAKK’s Model 400T Ion-Edge is a shockless superior performing medium range ionization static elimination bar with a market-leading compact and durable design. Quality engineered with replacement static bar users and original equipment manufacturers in mind, it delivers high positive and negative ion output in cramped quarters. The bar can be operated by most all power units with output voltage ranging from 4,000 volts to 8,000 volts. Model 400T is available in lengths 2 inches to 120 inches in one inch increments. It is constructed of industrial grade extruded plastic, epoxy overlay and resistively coupled emitter pins for performance, safety, low maintenance and years of service. The range of ionization is 7 inches (effective 7 inches from target surface).

The Model 400T Ion-Edge is well suited for Original Equipment Manufacturers and O.E.M. replacements with broad applications including Packaging Machines, Printers, Converting, Extruding, and Material Handling.
