Sheet Fed Printing
On a sheet fed press, static charges are generated by the friction as one sheet is dragged across the top of another. This causes the sheets to stick together creating misfeeds, multiple sheet pick-up, registration problems and press jams.
Installing a static eliminator to blow ionized air between the top sheet and the stack eliminates the charge and prevents sticking and jamming.
